Welcome to the Brentwood Bay Eagles thread for the 2015/2016 season. This nest is on private property in the Brentwood Bay area. These eagles have produced many offspring in previous seasons and 2 successful fledglings this past season. Info on these eagles for previous years can be found here. Please feel welcome to post observations, photos and videos of these eagles if you visit their nest area.

I did a tour today of all the nests I monitor on the Saanich Peninsula. I saw Mom perched in a tree behind the Vet Hospital on Stelly's X-Rd. There is a nest in a nearby tree that they have used in the past. Mom was busy preening and scratching and kept looking in the direction of the current nest.

Visited the Brentwood Bay nest area this afternoon. The nest they used last year is still in the tree Left thumb up I took a few pics from the side street and could see the tree at the end of the stand of cottonwood has broken off (left side of pic). This tree is next to the tree they used to have their nest in for many years.

While standing on the side road, one of the eagles flew over the field and landed in the perch tree down on Sluggett Rd. It was hanging on in the wind Oh My
