THANK YOU Terry for your undying enthusiam and work for Fledgefest! I hope everybody has a stellar time and I'll be checking in to read and see all the reports from the attendees.

I am extremely grateful it's not being held here in very, very toasty Ontario! I hope you have a great weather day too. Ohhhhhh Sandra I just read yours, great weather day people! Be very, very grateful that it's cool out I'd pay large to have it.

Beautiful shots Capo Welcome I hope you get some like that of our beloved Solo today!!

Hi 4voyage wave Would it be too much to ask for you to repost them here?

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Good morning!!! A cool cloudy day in Lillooet. hope it will be nice and sunny for you at the Fest. Enjoy!!!!

I'm going to help 4Vpuage post links to his adventures and photos since arriving in sidney and visiting the nest! I've done individual posts rather than have you scroll through the whole thread looking.

Beginning of Journery

Step Two
I'm interested in knowing from the regular nest visitors, if "our" eagles go to this location (Near the airport. Description of area in the post) and if this could be one of them, or if there is another nest close by.

Sunday's vist After this, skip one post to see more.
Sunday continued

I don't hear solo on or near the nest!
The sparrows and other birds are well in evidence - suggesting empty nest!
The Fledge Festers are very quiet - some should be at the fence by now!!

ETA:
I see that Skipper heard them - I had better put my ear on!! Grin

Hi, Pat wave I think so -- isn't the official "start" time 10:30 a.m.

Edited to add:

It's incredible to think that this is the 5th Sidney Eagle season and Solo is one of 10 Sidney eaglets soaring the skies. Wow!!!!

Edited to add at 10:20 a.m.
