Names for some pics. on page 4 of this Fledge Fest thread.

On your page Jul 6 2:26 am, about half way down page 4 is a picture with Earl only about half in the picture on the left side ( 4th picture above David ).
Mel, 4 voyage, lady on my right but on the left as you look at the photo is Karen W. In the next picture Karen Bills is facing Karen at the table.
On the next pic with Harrymilt at the end of the table, the ??? shown at the bottom is Laurie, whales1, wearing a black sweater over a red shirt, then on the next page, Laurie has her back to the camera and is the one blocking the view of Larry, urbaneagle .
The next photo is of me holding a folder - no name problem, just so you can verify where I am talking about for the other pics.

Hi John (Eagle Dude) . Sorry about the mix up between Courtenay and Campbell River, they're so close in proximity that I seem to mix them up a lot . Yes, I think we met in Campbell River and I know we met again at FF 2008.

Thank you so much everyone for all the wonderful pics and accounts of FF 2010. I really appreciate reading about your day at our very special nest . It seems the Sidney nest has captured the hearts of many .

You betcha the Sidney nest is special, Sandra. I have yet to encounter an eagle pair as endearing as our Ma and Pa Sidney. They have such character and personality. Sandra, you and I met for the very first time there in the summer of 2006 and what a meeting it was, too. A very special " blind date" You were the very first "forum member" I officially met in person and now we are friends. And we have made so many more friends as a result of this eagle pair, too. And we feel blessed for it. Long live Ma and Pa and the Sidney cam

John/eagledude: Great hugs. Last year you won my Fledgefest challenge and prize. Who won Mel's contest this year? John, you and I and Ian have been there since the first Fledgefest too and we look forward to seeing you annually, as well. To get that great big hug!

John, I just noticed your question.
Yes, I had been to Sidney, but not for Fledge Fest. I passed through when traveling with another couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Spent one night both going to and leaving from The small town of Ucluelet. Stayed in the Travelodge then and this trip also.

Where do all the attendees normally post? I use Screech Hollow and most of the people at FF apparently post on other threads, but where?

Mel - The chat threads are all found in the Garden Fence, as is the Hollow, and some of the folk you met are on Eagleholics Anonymous, and others on Nesters. The actual eagle discussions are done on the threads appropriate to the nest being watched. I'll send you some helpful directions on Navigating this huge forum

The group pic, taken outside the Spitfire Grill after our 2008 FledgeFest gathering at the nest, is in the old forum here: FledgeFest 2008! Go to my post on July 19, 2008 at 7:11 pm. If you click on the pic twice you will get a larger version, and I have inserted the names below the pic.

PS: I have edited the wording in this post because I didn't take the pic (I'm in the pic); it was taken with my camera by Trudy Handel of BCIT who was invited by David to attend FledgeFest 2008.
