Wow! What terrific photos everyone--It's really fun to see everyone together and looking at the nest and eagles. Thank you Kay and PacNorWest for the most recent additions to this thread

Kay--your people shots are great!

PacNorWest--I especially liked your photos of Solo on the 1:00 branch--since that is where we see Solo most of the time now.

And then, to see your other photo of Ma off to the left--while Solo is on the branch--made me realize and actually see how they watch out for the little one--even though they are not right in the nest!

Terry--I am so impressed you put this all together! Good job!

Thank You Thank you everyone!

Doug, Orcas. How wonderful. I am never that lucky. You got some great snaps.

Here is a video from yesterday of Pa chasing a juvie intruder away. He is a force to be reckoned with when it suits him.

Hi Everyone!

Well another Fledgefest over! What fun we had, it was great to see old friends and to meet new eagle watchers.Smile

Thank you David, Karen, Terry and Mr. Terrytvgal for organizing this. It is wonderful to actually see Ma, Pa and Solo close instead of in the nest (especially how the cam has been lately).Sad Enjoyed hearing David speak about the various nests, (we mustn't forget the need for funds).

Great pictures everyone.ClappingClapping

I am adding a few that I took. We first saw Ma in the tree then Pa joined her.
Solo was spotted in another tree quite a long way back, I saw Solo through our binoculars but didn't manage to take a pic. (our camera not strong enough).

PICS ARE CLICKABLE FOR LARGER.

I took this picture from another part of the road, near where we parked our car. The horses and cows are on the other side of the road to the nest.

Later, Barbara, Kay, Earl and I walked back and here is a view of the nest from that angle.

This pic is for the people who have never been to Sidney, looking out over the water (close to where the whale watching tours depart).
