One chick has his eyes focused on something overhead.
No visits by the adults yet this morning. The chicks have been quietly resting, preening and pecking about the nest. food

Mom arrived -- empty taloned. The quiet tranquility is gone when the chicks see her land. They're up and chirping.
Mom rearrranges some nesting material.

The chicks ducked out of the way as it landed in the middle of the nest but she soon moved it over to the right.

Both chicks are being fed from this fish -- Yeah Mom Very Happy

I've noted that the difference between this Mom and the Calgary Mom is the fact that this Mom always seems to feed her chicks with them on either side of her, whereas, the Calgary Mom always faces her chicks and they sit side by side being fed.

After wandering a moment he walks over to the smaller chick then back to the other side of Mom.

Feeding comes to an end after 15 minutes.
Mom then does a few nestorations while the chicks stand looking out from the nest.

Mom and the chicks go into high alert watching the sky and screeching.

Screeching gets louder and louder until Dad suddenly arrives on the nest with a nice trout dinner.

Two sleeping chicks.

7:58 pm
Mom arrived on the nest and instantly began her chattery calls.
She keeps this up for a long time and each time she stops the smallest chick imitates her.

Time to turn down the speakers Phew

8:05 pm
She stopped calling but only for a split second to move debris on the nest before she started up again..
She called the same way the other evening and it didn't seem to be for any apparent reason. I wonder if it's a signal to Dad to bring in another fish Puzzled
