they can lay more....not unusual for an Osprey to lay 4 eggs...Left thumb up

Mom was off the nest and the eggs visible. Both look fine to me. I do wonder why they are such a dark rust base color with darker specks instead of white base with specks like all the other O' nests I've seen. Could it be their diet?

No Osprey - I guess they will abandon the nest for this year. I did see one crow on the nest earlier.
