Chick Alert!

We think we see three little heads and no eggs left in the nest. We'll keep an eye out for a clearer shot of all three together.

Good news this morning! All three chicks were visible and looked healthy and alert. The heat will continue for another day or so, but then it should cool off.

All three chicks are growing and looking good!!

Wow great report there girl,this nest in the past has had so many struggles,major intruder issues that
destroyed the success of
this site so often that a report like this is exceptional for Black-Water.Also,one nice person will alway's
give a little of themselves to
Black-water so i thank you girl.Just great that this site has produced in the last two to three year's.I'm

You are quite welcome, Gerard!! I have been without the internet for 4 or 5 weekis, but I'm back with some new scaps and a report from Blackwater.


Nest Update

07/20/11:
At least one chick has taken to the air over the nest. Doesn't look like it will be long before we have a first flight.
