The second baby has hatched!

After a rainy night, Mom gets up, shakes her feathers, and flies off. Dad arrives with a fish and seems uncertain what to do. He gets a good look at his youngsters. Then Mom returns.

I've been away almost three weeks, and I'm glad to see that the Estonian Osprey family appears to be thriving.

The meal lasted over an hour, during which time all three youngsters were fed. At the end, their crops were full.

Found an Osprey nest along the banks of the Fraser River - better lighting and background than the Port Moody nest. This nest has three chicks! Ma & Pa are very busy with feeding. I got there a little late, so they were somewhat quiet - I hope to get there earlier another day.
