EJ incubating eggs @ 5:30.am - waiting for Odin

Odin takes' over for his independent lady EJ


I just peeked in again and looks like EJ on nest

6:21.am EJ waits' for breakfast, she's alert watching other birds flying above - gets down lower and then she pops' her head up. Calling is louder and here comes' Odin @ 6:56am

EJ sent him off fishing

EJ remains on nest duty - she wants breakfast in bed

no more snowflakes - its melting

Odin relieves EJ of nest duty - quickly rolls eggs & settles down to incubate. Weather wise it goes from sunny to heavy sleet mixed with hail and of course cold gusty winds too.

he's still sitting waiting patiently for EJ's return, Late sunlight casts shadows over the landscape, its' been unpredictable weather for the ospreys

Oh I was just going to log off and here comes' EJ @ 7:37.pm and its' snowing again, what a dreich miserable day Odin and EJ have endured today, Can only hope tomorrow is warmer...

I'm off for a wee nap - tuckered out folks!

ej sits incubating calling out - Odin on high alert, chases' intruder away quite a few times yesterday.
