Odin arrives with fish at last - EJ was calling awhile for it :dry:

Fish got snagged in nest material, EJ had to tugged it from his talon and the tangled nest material. Off she went to eat

5:06am Odin relieves EJ from nesy duty. He rolls eggs and settles down to brood. no rain showers at Loch Garten

12.36. EJ takes nest break, wingerizes, preens a bit and flew off for wee bit of excercize - she's landed and incubating eggs.

1:39.pm EJ on the alert, heads looking above, intruder must be near - she takes off - Odin lands with fish - she lands back onto nest - then its alert issues and defensive modes.
In the kerfuffle I'm not sure if its EJ or Odin who nibbles fish as I'm cross eyed after the chaos.
Odin switched at 2:08.pm settles to incubate

Just for amoment I thought there was a chick in there - but I see it's just the colouring of the eggs!!



When are they due to hatch??

I keep expecting to see a hole in the egg too but guess its going to be sometime over the weekend - for hatching now.
EJ and Odin have been on switch nest duty and she went off to eat his fish delivery and thoughtful EJ brought fish back for Odin. They both roll the eggs more than ever and she digged at nest bowl befpre settling down to incubate eggs, Then the skies opened up and a heavy downpoor of rain fell for a good 5 minutes, she really got soaked
