OspreyCam
The OspreyCam is focused on an artificial nesting platform erected by LCEC (our electric provider). The two adults have been using this platform for at least 11 years. The ospreys spend the majority of the year in Cape Coral.

1340 nest time
caught them both which looks to be guarding the nest....maybe an intruder alert...but nothing too serious from what I can tell!

An osprey's nest is a reflection of the humans in the area...if they nest in a trashy area, they will bring that trash to their nest. This trash is a huge problem to all birds and marine life along the US coast. The nests in the UK, Finland and inland USA are very different. But even the UK nests have problems with fishing lines and the inland USA nests have problems with bailing twine....I'll stop here.
An osprey is truly an environmental "canary in the coal mine", how soon we forget.
