The cam is fixedClapping

These pics are from the 5:30 pm feeding today. The youngest nestling is two weeks old today.

Any explanation on its very light color at this age?

Happy hatch day, little one! Grin

The color - umm - it's not as tanned? Cool

This is Marcia's pic from Milford CT in 2008 - the smallest one was about a week and a half - so slightly younger - but similarly light in color. Not sure I can find a pic at 2 weeks old, but I'm guessing he still won't have his pre-teen coloring by then.

JUDY, THANK YOULeft thumb up

No, I don't know what happened, and it is not in view, likely down in the nest bowl.

Sparky from the site reported the temperature was 35 this morning at 6:30. The female has also been keeping them uncovered most of the day, ok for the bigger ones, but I'm sure very stressful for the little one.

I'm so sorry to hear about the little one. Sad It was quite a bit smaller, but looked as if it was holding its own. Fly free, little one.

Thanks for posting, Jazzel - I know it's not easy news to deliver. (((((hugs)))))
