Looks like we have an egg at the nest! Not sure when it was laid and how many. :dunno: I just brought up the cam as I thought the osprey were probably back and either getting the nest ready or laying eggs! We stop at the nest every May when we are down in Madeira Beach, FL. I posted pictures from the putting green last season. This nest is in total view from the road heading to Tarpon Springs the Sponge Capital of the world. We will be back down this May and plan to stop by the nest!

Good Morning Jazzel! Sorry I don't know when the egg was laid. I'll try to see if there's something posted at the cam site. I just checked in yesterday as I knew there should be eggs soon. When we were down in Dunedin last May the chicks were still at the nest, but flying around already.
The new cam is great but people are messing around with the zooming in and out. The other thing is it throws you off after a few mintues, saying you are disconnected for other to watch. I tried to do a video yesterday but with all the movement with the cam, it didn't come out!
Here's a cap from this morning. Mom is incubating so I can't tell if she has laid another egg yet!?

12-27-11 First sighting of Ospreys at nest.
1-24-12 Territorial conflict wiht another female. Both Ospreys chase her off!
1-26-12 First documented mating
2-17-12 First egg laid at 5:41am
2-20-12 Second egg documented
