5/5/11- Last of the pictures put into a collage! Hope you enjoyed them! We will definitely search out the nest next year when we are vacationing there. If we are lucky, we just might see the Osprey again!

Bev, the cam has been down for about a week, just came back on line today. The 3 nestlings were banded on 5/12, that went well.

When the cam came up today, only 2 nestlings. The oldest nestling was 47 days old today.....that would be a very early fledge...it has, as of dark tonight, not returned to the nest.

I've been in contact with Barb Walker, she is of course aware of the situation, but only because the cam is on. She doesn't know how long the nestling has been off the nest, they will be trying to find him/her tomorrow. If the nestling/fledgling is alive, the male will be guarding it and bringing fish, it shouldn't be to hard to locate, if alive.

This is very hard, not having the cam to see if this nestling had enough wing strength to get lift...just have to wait and see.
