Switch back to Savannah - I wasn't sure until I saw Derek on the perch a moment after the s'cap.

Mom is up, digging in the nest bowl.

Then I lost the cam briefly. It's back, and she's looking a bit pouffy - and I have a dilemma - I should head for the grocery store and home - but I am wondering if something is about to happen.

It's getting darker - and I'm out for a while.

Well, not surprisingly, the nest is dark. I've looked everywhere I can think to look, and haven't seen any updates. I guess we wait to see what the morning will bring. love

Thank you Judy.....i checked here also and it was dark... i knew that Derek and Savannah weren't educational eagles and hand fed.... they just can't survive in the wild because of their injuries............ I'm sorry! i guess i didn't express my self very well.. very embarrassed

See you all soon..

Good Night to this eagle family and to all who love this nest...hug

I'm sorry, Bev very embarrassed - that might not have come out quite the way I intended.

They have been here quite a while, and they are much more comfortable around humans than totally wild eagles - but having eggs in the nest is something special, and I think that's why they were reacting. I don't often have tiny nieces and nephews in the car - but when I do, I drive much more cautiously - even though I'm always a pretty good driver. Smile And I even walk more carefully when I'm carrying one of our cats. love

Good night everyone sleepy - and I wonder what we'll see in the morning. Smile
