Welcome to the Lochside Eagles thread for the 2013//2014 season. The nest is on private property on Lochside Drive which runs parallel to the Pat Bay Highway. The Lochside Drive eagles have successfully fledged many eaglets during the past few years. The adult eagles from this nest are often seen perched in the tall trees along Lochside Drive near their nest, as well as in trees along James Island Road. Information and photos of these eagles can be found in the previous years' thread here. Please feel welcome to post your observations and photos of these eagles whenever you visit their area.

Sandra for most of the afternoon it was nice and sunny. The clouds were starting to gather by the time I saw Mom Lochside but it was very warm and many people were out in short sleeved t-shirts. One older fellow had a bare chest Oh My

I saw Mom this afternoon, perched in a tree down the road from her nest. The top of this tree broke off earlier this year; the eagles were seen mating at the top of this tree many times Sad

I went by the Lochside nest on Fri. and I also drove around the area down the road where the eagles perch but did not see the eagles anywhere. The property the nest tree is on was for sale a short while ago and I did not see the sign, but did see some trucks in the driveway and people working.
