Welcome to the Roberts Bay Eagles thread.

This thread is dedicated to observations, photos and videos of the eagles who inhabit a nest overlooking Roberts Bay in Sidney BC on Vancouver Island.
The nest is on private property so the exact location will not be made public.
Last year this pair successfully fledged three beautiful eaglets and we wish them every success in the coming year.
Here is a link to last year's thread

I visited the Roberts Bay nest site yesterday afternoon and did not see any eagles in the area. Spoke to one of the neighbours very briefly and she had not seen them yet.

We saw one of the Roberts Bay eagles (I think it was Mom) perched in the tree overlooking the beach area this morning. It was very foggy and she looked a bit lonely looking out over the misty bay Smile We didn't have time to wait for the fog to lift.
