Hi everybody. Congrads Liberty and Patriot. It will be so interesting to see if they go for triplets again. That would be a record, two successful triplet nests in a row. I think the reason they are so successful is the area has so many fish. These ponds are very fertile. The river, is fairly common, but the ponds : WOW. I have a lot of trouble with this new forum, and its not the forums fault. I live in a somewhat rural location, and I have to pay extra for DSL, not to mention the other services. So, no high speed. Oh well, looking forward to this adventure with our eagles.

californiakayaker,
Thanks for the info about the ponds near the nest being fertile. I'm sure that many viewers, me included, have wondered about the food supply near the nest. Good to know.
Are you able to our see s'caps and videos? Do you get the cam to come in for you? Sure hope so....

to the world little eagle!!! I just heard the news, and am so relieved and excited!!! She sure kept us guessing this year! I was down there tonite and I spotted her up there around 5:45 and she was hunkered down really low on the right side of the nest. I told my husband that I thought tonite would be the night for her 1st egg! So, it was a great surprise to come home and hear Eagle Eye's phone call telling me the great news!
Can't wait to see if she drops another one or two this week~
