Thanks, eaglewoman!

I'll try to keep the feather hints in mind - I was mostly going on head shape and normal male/female behavior.

10:05 pm
One was doing a bit of nestoration, when the other arrived with a large stick. Only one visible now, and of course he/she is back-to so I can't check the neckline!

10:11 pm
Both there now - not sure if that's a new big stick or if they're fine-tuning the placement of the earlier one.

First egg was February 6 last year - but it does seem that variations of a week or two aren't unusual. I don't know when the first egg was laid the year before - and since I'm supposed to be at work, this probably isn't a good time to try to look that up. Cool

Would REALLY be so nice to be able to see her head too. Oh well, sometimes we can. At least we can see the "business end" for egg laying. Grin

Yeah, I hear you on that one CAL04~if they could just tilt it up a bit, that would be perfect!
JudyB~We don't have exact dates on the year before last's eggs because the eaglecam wasn't in place yet. So, we only have last year's dates to go by!

I was down there tonite when eagletwatcher plodded through the mud to take a peek through the scope. Even with a bad knee, she made it down there! Clapping
Patriot was up there by himself for a while, and then LIberty flew in with a branch. I took some video which I will post shortly!
We are thinking any day now on the first egg, maybe even tonite?!?

Good morning!

8:27 am
Both of them just arrived at the nest. Patriot had a big branch to move (what else is new!).
One flew off towards the cam - perhaps up in the tree.
The other is still in the nest, wiping her(?) beak on the bit of branch coming up on the right.

8:30 am
Now the other one has also left.
