It really doesn't look promising for this season, given that they generally have eggs in early February. The good news is that the folks at the Sutton Center have found their back-up nest, and do have a plan in place that (with a bit of luck) will let them put a cam on what may be the new nest for this pair. I doubt if it will offer the very personal look this pair of cams provides - but if all goes well, we will get to see what happens this year.

And if I'm wrong - well, we'll have a good idea of how fast a dedicated pair of eagles can make a nest!

I had thoughts:idea: along those lines as I had read on the site and in the forum last year that there was probably an alternative nest. They may be "doing a Sidney"!

I see parts of TX and OK were hit by a storm yesterday
I cannot get the cam this morning :cry1:
I see they are having freezing rain at the moment!!
Hope Ma and Pa are hunkered down safe somewhere!

Cam down this morning perhaps related to the bad

Yesterday we had a visitor to the nest and it appeared new sticks
were brought to the nest
