waveelle: It could be that the Fire Halls are still in their 'courting' phase, trying to forget their tragic loss last seasonDon't Know I wish them luck with their mating and hopeful the matings will end in eggsSmile All of the people I have spoken to lately who live in the area have said the eagles have been very vocal; it's possible the eagles have been mating and the neighbours aren't aware of what the eagles are doingRoll eyes

PS: It certainly makes a big difference in the photos when you have a nice blue skyLeft thumb up

Here is a pic of the Anderson Hill nest, and 2 pix of Dad Anderson Hill, perched in the same tree Mom was perched in earlier. They seemed to be trading places back and forth and that makes me think they might have an egg in the nestDon't Know Click them bigger.

Ian did a tour of all three Oak Bay nests yesterday and got these photos and a couple of videos of all three familiies.

First up: Pa firehall having a conversation with a crow.

And a couple of videos of the Firehall pair on a wee island in the Oak Bay Marina and also flying on Beach Drive above the marina. It was a windy day.
