Thanks for your kind comments Kay. Went by the nest today and saw both eagles on their favourite tree across the road. Took some shots, the light wasn't very good. I will send about 12 of them - most have been cropped.

The ruffled-looking one probably went for a swim and was drying out its feathersNodding Once last year I photographed one down the road in the tree behind the new house and it looked very wet and scruffyRoll eyes It looked like it was old and thin but I'm sure it was just wet and trying to dry outNodding
