I went to see the Golf Course and Anderson Hill eagles today.

One of the Golf Course eaglets was perched at the top of the nest tree and was wingersizing a lot. Pa was down the road perched in the tree behind the new house. I didn't see Ma or the 2nd eaglet. When I was up at the lookout on Anderson Hill I saw the eaglet on a lower branch wingersizing. I don't think the 2nd eaglet has fledged yet. 2 California Quail wandered across the road from the Golf Course and were pecking away at the grass right in front of me.

Ma and one of the Anderson Hill eaglets were perched in their usual tree along the path. I think the eaglet must be a female because it is hugeOh My The other (smaller) eaglet flew into the tree and landed right at the top where I couldn't see it from the path below, but I sure heard itOh My Ma few off and the 2 eaglets sat in the tree for a long time.

I stopped at McNeill Pt. where I saw Pa perched on the rocks at Trial Island and I could see (and hear) the smaller eaglet calling out from the perch tree. Here is a pic of the big eaglet perched in the tree below Mom. It was waving at meGrin I took the pic from the path almost below the perch tree. I'm still downloading my pics and I'll post some more tomorrow.

Thanks sassyk , nice shot of the Anderson Hill female.
I was up there last night and both juveniles were in the tree above the path. They were putting on quite a show working on their take offs and landings. Very impressive and comical at the same time. I’ve attached 3 sets of pics.
