3:00 p.m.

Another feeding just ended--and this time, there was food to spare.
What started out as four ravenous eyases vying for each bite ended up with the parent trying to coax the kids to eating more as, one by one, they 'left the dinner table' and looked for a place to crash and take a nap.
The adult took the leftover kill and flew towards the square, below.

7:40AM MST

Rainy morning in SLC (52°F with a light rain).

Looks like I caught kind of the tail end of a feeding. The two in the foreground seemed to be content so I'm assuming they got what they wanted to eat, while the parent is continuing to encourage the two in the back to eat more.

Seems like a morning to welcome all that fluff they still have Smile

A much sunnier morning than it was yesterday in SLC (55°F Partly Cloudy)

8AM

Another look at those incoming wing feathers - growing so fast, the darker feathers coming in are starting to make the eyasses look a little scuzzy *lol*

Wow...very cool capture of the new feathers coming in along the wing, silverstar!

The kids are relaxing this afternoon--one was using the rock as a pillow a few minutes ago Smile

Feeding time! The kids are very vocal, but there seems enough to go around:

8:00 p.m.

The kids are calling out for dinner in a very loud and unrelenting 'chorus!'
One of the adults flew near the box a few minutes ago, and they all went to see what was going on.
Lots of 'wingersizing' today and a couple of the eyases even took turns standing on the rock.
They are become very interested in what is going on 'outside the box!' Titter

8:07 p.m.

Adult flew to box edge and was met with a demanding round of calls! The adult went to the corner and seemed to look for something. One of the eyases picked up a leftover 'wing' and started to pick at it.

8:10 p.m.

Dinner has arrived! And it's a mob! It's all the parent can do to feed the kids fast enough.
