Metra has laid 2 eggs. (2 eggs is not "happy" thing with LSEs. As only 1 chick usually will survive if both eggs hatch, the weaker/younger one will be eaten... Phew)

WOW!! Metra and Eha had chicks hatch very close together didn't they? You do know what normally happens when 2 chicks hatch in one of these nests I hope. Sad

MaryF :hello: Yes, Im very aware of the cainism. Last year Metra had 2 chicks and the smaller/younger one was killed/eaten.
And now they have two chicks again... Phew I think the other one hatched yesterday.
