I have downloaded the free Skype. Can someone please tell me how to get the videa broadcast today from Sidney nest......Thank you

You can also view the broadcast from the HWF home page, click on the white arrow in the UStream screen there.

The last 3-4 days I have been unable to view the Sydney eagle nest. When I go to the appropriate page to click on the white arrow on the pic of the eagle, nothing happens - the white arrow is not there, and my cursor does not change to a hand. One day I was able to get in earlier in the day, but after that, I have not been able to find any way to "click" to see the eagle nest. Is this my problem or what - have other had this problem? I've tried it when I was logged in and when I wasn't. I am able to see the other eagles sites I watch (outside of the Hancock group).

I am using a PC and the Chrome browser.

I would appreciate any help anyone can offer!

Hi karent and welcome to the forum! Great to have you here!

I'll see what I can do to help. I just tried to see both cams using Google Chrome and was successful. Have you cleared your temporary files or cache from your computer? Maybe do a defrag or a disc clean up? Do you have the latest version of Adobe Flash (ver. 10.2)?

I'm not sure what else to suggest, and maybe others will know better how to help. In the meantime, have you tried going through WildEarth to view the cams?

Hi!

If you have an account, the easiest way is to upload it to YouTube (or another video hosting website) and then post the link to the YouTube video on the forum.

There is a Hancock Wildlife Media Gallery to which you can upload a video if you don't have a YouTube account, but it's a time-consuming and somewhat complicated process

If you don't have an YouTube account and don't want to set one up, I can see if I can find instructions for uploading to the Hancock Media Gallery or I can write up instructions, but that will take me a while

As well, if you are on Facebook, you can upload it to the Hancock Wildlife Facebook page and post a link to video on the forum. FYI--the Hancock Media Gallery will only "accept" video with a Windows Media extension (i.e. .wmv). If your movie is anything else, you will have to use a program like Windows Movie Maker to convert it to .wmv :-)
