Visit the male, a little digging in the nest and leaves, Local time: 10:47...





No one spending the night today, for now ....

Now the Kestrels have done it again. Probably six chicks hatched in the past few days.
The parents are as usual very diligent in feeding,the weather is not so hot now,so hopefully all will go to schedule.

yep there are six but I can not take s'caps of the nest at work...

I haven't been watching this cam or any for that matter too much but tuned in this morning and have not seen an adult with food...there is a little guy that is feisty but the whole gang...5 bigger siblings that just turned on him and are killing him...WOW hard to watch but I wonder where the adults are with food to feed all six? Seems weird no food drops that I have seen and the little one is being consumed. I will not post pics.! Very sad!

Interesting enough as soon as I post this and they kill #6 both parents flew on and the female has a little bird to feed the gang...too late for #6 though. One s'cap and it's graphic...
