Since one of our favorite African animals is the African Leopard, we wanted a place to post information and s'caps of their relatives from other areas.

Our newest link is to a female Amur Leopard and her two cubs. The Amur Leopard is classified as 'Extremely Endangered' as there is an estimate of about only 40 living in the wild. After the large-scale effort to save the Amur Tiger, there is no one to save the Amur Leopard.

Ten days later and look how her cubs have grown

Connie, thank you for making a thread for the 'cousins' of the Djuma leopards. The cubs are now more awake and active than 2 weeks ago.

I just took these.

Both cubs asleep


A minute later - both are feeding love Mum's position


And then Mum rolls away from them and the cubs ask ''What did we do' :question:


I have now completed uploading to Media Gallery the a video (maybe 2) from the days I have watched. Okay ~ so today it is three as the action was great and changed so quickly in about 5 minutes. The time I note is the time at their domicile.

So sweet and all curled up and asleep

Wed. Apr. 21 at 9:45 am or so. Feed is a little jumpy. Mum trying to wash herself while cubs 'rest'.

Thurs. Apr. 22 from 8:04 - 8:08 a.m.

So sweet, so funny and so frustrating for one cub.
