Not sure if there's a fix, just wanted to make note that the mic on the Sidney nest is making wierd noises...

Looks as if both Delta OWL cams are down - will try to restart the encoders.

I'm afraid it seems to do that from time to time, ArbourHeart. Hopefully it will be something that can be fixed in the fall when David and his team are doing maintenance on the cams. As far as I know, it's nothing that can be fixed or adjusted without going into the tree - which of course we can't do while the eagles are around.

The good news is that (knock on wood) the buzz seems to go away after a while.

I'm afraid that things like dead/dying microphone is not something we can easily deal with outside the general maintenance times of "after the eagles have gone"

Even if the problem is nowhere near the nest - just getting to the Sidney site (or many of the other sites) is a costly problem so we try really hard not to go on site for anything.

I personally love the sounds from the Sidney camera so if it is not working I'll miss it. Might have to turn the volume down on the computer (which can be done remotely) to ensure it does not annoy people too much if it persists.
