Hey guys, Just thought I would remind you that the Chehalis hatchery cam is still down and it has been since the beginning of October. Any chance we will be able to get it going for the end of salmon season, and hopefully Steelhead season?

Thanks Nic.

I'm sorry - but I have been sick and all but unable to do anything for most of the past month - far longer than I'd ever have thought I'd be laid up with an ulcer. It is affecting me in a way that means I have to sleep sitting up and I've been averaging only about 3 hours/night. Can't drive long distances or I'll fall asleep Sad

I'm just starting to perk up a bit but it has been far too long.

Note also that HWF needs more donations too - we're pretty dry and, while I do a lot without billing, I can't spend a day at anything without putting in some sort of bill, even if only for gas/mileage and out of pocket, especially at this point as my overall billings last month were dismal. In this case it really is a 2 person job too.

Sorry, but that's the way it is at the moment Sad

I've Just Realized that the Time Stamp on the Cameras has not been adjusted to the "Fall Back" position. Each Camera displays a time 1 hour later than it is here in BC.

I think Richard notified Peter earlier this week, and I've just done so again. Must admit it's hard enough for me to figure out what time it is when all the cams are on the same cycle. Roll eyes

I notice the timestamp on the WR cams is still PDT. But it's now PST, one hour earlier.

We are in touch with the WE people to get it adjusted, Brian. Thanks for reporting it.

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place and I thought I posted last night but I can't find it. I have not been able view any of the HWF cams. I can see other site's cams with the eagles and recently reformatted and updated my OS and Flash player etc. I use Vista with DSL and Firefox for my browser and am curious if there have been any one else with this problem. I see the ad prior to the cam view and then blackness. "Connecting to the live video server" but it never comes up. Any suggestions what I may be missing? Thanks.

Hi susang3 - I thought I'd seen something to try when that happens - and found it in the helpful hints area! Here's a link to something that's worked for some people with a similar problem - forum/viewtopic.php?topic=247744#247744

Hopefully that will work - good luck, and keep us posted! Smile

Another thing to check if that doesn't work - because WildEarth, which streams the cams for us, relies on ad revenue to pay for the costs associated with streaming the cams, I think you may need to turn off your pop-up blocker if you have it on, or make an exception for Hancock WIldlife. You can find the settings under Tools: Options:Content tab, and there's more info from Mozilla about how to add an exception here - http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Pop ... 0&as=s
