Dad has been bringing in more sticks for the last half hour. I really shouldn't laugh, but some of his maneuvers are self defeating. He keeps piling the sticks up against the side wall and tries to place some on top of the box wall. The latter all fall down to the ground. He doesn't seem interested in covering the bottom. Sticks that work their way to the center bottom, he rearranges to the top of the side walls. I think he needs to go to a school of engineering
So far I have not seen Mom bring in one stick.

Winter Storm Warning : City of Calgary
Issued at 4:13 AM MDT Wednesday 28 April 2010
Summary
Intermittent rain changing to snow by Thursday morning. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres by Thursday evening in most localities. This is a warning that dangerous winter weather conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions...Listen for updated statements.
Details
An upper low pressure system will move across the Rockies into Southern Alberta today before moving slowly eastward along the Montana border. The storm will move into Saskatchewan by Thursday evening. Ahead of the low periods of rain have begun in many communities. As the low moves east the winds will shift to north to northwest 50 gusting to 70 km/h and the precipitation will change to snow over western and Southern Alberta. Snowfall amounts will generally be in the range of 10 to 20 centimetres, but elevation effects will enhance the snowfall to near 30 centimetres along portions of the southern foothills. Extremely poor visibilities can be expected at times with the strong winds and falling snow. Over the Red Deer..Drumheller..And Brooks regions the snowfall will be highest over western sections. Foothill areas to the west of Red Deer can also expect some snow but amounts look to be sub warning criteria at this time.
