Another exciting day in Alaska - I drove on Highway 1 North outside of Anchorage to look for more Sitting eagle It was a stormy day with poor visibility. At this time of year the Sitting eagle population is still low as Sitting eagle tend to find their food elsewhere. But some have already arrived for winter. I drove out to the landfill site and met with a very kind and helpful man there who was very knowledgeable and we drove around the site with his truck. Fortunately I had a good lens because the few eagles we spotted were shy and still young. Here is a real “Alaskan shot” I am proud of. A good day indeed.
