Another exciting day in Alaska - I drove on Highway 1 North outside of Anchorage to look for more It was a stormy day with poor visibility. At this time of year the population is still low as tend to find their food elsewhere. But some have already arrived for winter. I drove out to the landfill site and met with a very kind and helpful man there who was very knowledgeable and we drove around the site with his truck. Fortunately I had a good lens because the few eagles we spotted were shy and still young. Here is a real “Alaskan shot” I am proud of. A good day indeed.
