Our annual fundraising is underway and we need your help.

We have a challenge underway to see how many HWF families and nests can be adopted during this "wave." Hope you ride the wave and help make this a huge success!

Thanks for your continued support.

I stopped at the Muse Winery yesterday and one of the adult eagles was in the nest feeding chicks. I saw 2 very light coloured fuzzy heads and the owner of the winery said she thinks they hatched about 2 weeks ago. These eagles have been much later in laying their eggs than most others in the area. I took a few pics and then got back in my car to watch. There was more action in the nest so I grabbed my camera and took a few pics through the windshield so I wouldn't miss capturing the chicks. The quality isn't good but at least I captured the chicks Left thumb up

I was at the winery yesterday for a couple of hours and saw only 1 eaglet in the nest. Jane, the owner of the winery, said she has not seen 2 for a few days and is quite certain the other one has perished. I heard an adult eagle calling from the nearby trees and saw an adult eagle soaring overhead but did not see one in or around the nest.
