There's a few salmon that have managed to escape the
hungry eagles.

This guy's a biggy

This is not a very good picture, but this is a duck
that was chasing one of the fish. At one point there
were 3 ducks swimming along the bottom, but the visibilty
is so bad, I couldn't get a clear pic.

DUCK!!!!!

The ducks are back chasing the fish but the poor visibility is making
it impossible to get a pic.

The fish are being chased around by the ducks again.
All you can see is a large number of fish swimming past the camera,
than you can see what looks like a grey coloured duck swimming
behind them.
I guess Richard hasn't had chance to clean the glass that protects the
the camera, unless all this algae is on the inside of the glass.

Rose I haven't checked in here for awhile and was amazed to see your pictures of the ducks.
You were sure in the right place at the right time to catch them
That glass sure does need a good cleaning

Well done indeed, Rose! I believe this was seen either last season or the season before as well. To have it documented again is just fabulous!!
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Thanks Judy & Terry, it is really exciting to watch. Some of
the fish look like they are twice the size of the ducks, and I
can't help but wonder what the ducks will do if they catch
one of those big fish. It usually happens anytime between
3 & 6:00pm and can go on for a couple hours.
One day there were 3 ducks under the water chasing them,
but I just couldn't get a clear picture. Not only because of the
poor visibility but because they move so fast the pic comes out
all blurred. I keep hoping for at least one really clear pic.
Ta for now.
