Video: Breakfast in Bed
Dad brings breakfast, albeit a very early one, to his mate. Then he seems to make sure she approves and has it firmly in her beak before taking his leave. How gentle they are with each other!
Many thanks to LN from Geniet van de Lente, who helped me fix my typos on YT!

What a face!

Video: Young Eagle-owl Alone
The owlets have grown so fast. Mom and Dad are excellent providers. One of the owlets is alone on the cliff, looking around, listening to birdsong? Don't worry, his parents aren't far away. Owls sleep during the day and are active at night.
Recorded at 8:45 PM local time
1st egg: 2/26
2nd egg: 3/2
1st hatch: 3/31
2nd hatch: 4/4

Just joined HWF, first time poster here so go easy on me lol.
Anyone else watching this year? What a fantastic view of this Eurasian Eagle Owl nest! The link to this cam is the same as in the first post of this thread even though that was years ago. I just stumbled across this nest a week or so ago and MOM is incubating. In my hunt for information (using google translate) I was able to find a post that indicated that the female laid an egg on February 17 but so far I haven't been able to track down any further egg laying news. I understand incubation is approx. 33 days, so if 2/17 was first egg I believe that would bring hatch watch date to March 22? (give or take) ... just 10 days away!

Hi PatB. Thank you for the welcome! You are so right. It appears that the English translation forum may be dead. If no objections I think I will stick around here at HWF and see if more people venture in here to enjoy this Owl family. I find the picture and sound at this cam incredibly good. I am very excited to share this venture with any others who join in.
In the meantime here is a scap of Mr. E. Oehoe dropping off some food for the Mrs. today.
