2011 season has begun and looks like she might have all ready laid eggs or even has little owlets? hard to tell have not seen her get up yet!

Soph, I'm glad I saw your post! Grin Eurasian Eagle Owls are one of the most beautiful owls..IMO. They are quite large, too!

I haven't seen her get up, but she was rocking back and forth on the nest, like she was rolling eggs. fingers crossed

Wish I knew what the time difference was, but I got this from under the cam...

It looks really good so far. As far as I got the feathers of the female can see, this is considered an Eagle Owl at least 5 years old. It is therefore logical to assume that it is the same woman as last year. The behavior indicates that an egg yesterday, but unfortunately we can, despite the higher angle just do not see.

well based on last year when we tuned in she was all ready sitting on owlets wasn't she? Or just eggs...have to go back and look.

UPDATE: the first owlet was a week old by March 31st, 2010 so I bet eggs right now...

their calls/hoots are so cute....I was watching when they were chatting it up.....so cute....these are the most beautiful owls I have ever watched...
