It looks like that last wind storm has polished off the remaining remnants of the nest!

Video: Trucks at the Delta Eagle Nest

I've heard eagle calls at this nest, but so far I haven't seen the eagles. Have to be watching at the right time! Just saw trucks.

Well, It will be interesting to see if they try again in that tree... I kinda don't think they will, but I sure don't think like an eagle! happy

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Hard to believe there was ever a nest in this tree.

An assist in helping this couple rebuild their nest is in the works, according to Karen Bills, David's assistant. A "metal nest structure & branches filling it" will be lodged into the tree.ClappingClapping This is the same structure that is put atop the poles but this one will be put into the tree as there is no nest there now. Let's hope the couple return and make full use of it! Grin

Some hammering or chopping noises - very slow!!
I doubt if the cleaning will start this early - there is so much to get together before they come!
Which means I will miss it - because I have to go out this evening Grin

Having said that - I can hear the beep of a reversing lorry! Grin
