Almost no nest left, just a few branches. Wonder if it is worth keeping these cameras online now? Would save some money for HWF.

Our thanks go to nightowl for her dedication of adding the dates each day.
Unfortunately the eagles aren't using this nest so we have given nightowl a break from the extra work.
In future if anyone sees something happening in or near the nest/tree please post it and add the date whenever possible.

Wind Warning : Greater Vancouver

Summary
Winds southeast 60 to 80 km/h will continue this afternoon over much of Vancouver Island, the Southern Gulf Islands and the Sunshine Coast. Winds southeast 50 to 70 km/h will continue this afternoon over metro Vancouver. This is a warning that potentially damaging winds are expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.



Details
An intensifying pacific frontal system crossing the British Columbia coast is producing strong southeasterly winds of 60 to 80 km/h over most of the south coast. The low will move into the interior this evening. In it wake, southeast winds will shift to the southwest and become very gusty late this afternoon through this evening.
