What has upset Mum??
Very plaintive calling!

No bobblhead today but I am certain I heard peeping through the night between the hours of midnight and 4:30 a.m. (9pm to 1:30 a.m. PST - Nest time). Every time mom adjusted and I heard her rustling, I heard the peeps.

So it is just a matter of time - It is so eggciting!

But it's quite hard to hear the peeping when the adult adjusts in the daytime when there's such a cacophony of birds calling but they're there.

Wooooohooooo I’m back in time not to miss the excitement! I knew it! Ma was squatting more than sitting this morning…I said that this morning when I posted the video. I figured she was leaving room below her for the wee one to do some work. Yippppeeee!!

Happy Birthday and welcome back Neets, sorry you got so much bad news on your return though about the old nest and raven. You’re going to get a great birthday present by the looks of things.

Thanks so much you guys it was fun reading all the notes and seeing the pics. And super special to see so many of my beloved buddies parked over here and ready for our most long awaited and exciting event!

2:09p - Parent restless doing a lot of calling - still quite windy.


2:10-16p - Incubation continues - parent breathing through mouth - positioned facing between 2-3
2:18 p Airplane and many bird sounds.
2:19 p A little yawn and another plane overhead
2:20 p Parent up digging in the bowl, settles facing 2-3 again pulling straw around.


2:21-2:29 Incubation continues with parent looking around - windy conditions continue.
