Good to be Back to the Sidney nests. Got signed in to new forums yesterday. Just waiting for the actions to start. When do they lay eggs? April or May?

waveRose & Lori: I didn't intend for the discussion to continue on the other thread; I should have suggested it be continued on this thread where people can feel at ease about chattingsigh sign Thanks to both of you for clearing up the confusionThank You

waveAbby: Ma & Pa will probably start mating sometime this month. It was Feb. 23rd last year when sandragee and I were at the nest site and witnessed them mating in a tree near the new nestLeft thumb up I hope I'll be able to get some better pix this yearWink

Glad to be back. I can hear noises at the new nest. Back up beeps and vehicle clanks, etc. Could it be the crane they use for the cameras?

wavebarbnor2: Welcome to the new forumWelcome The beeping and noise wouldn't be from the crane. Victorian Epicure have a huge warehouse on the property and big trucks come and go constantly. Ma and Pa are used to the noise:nod:

(4 21 pm) Pa lands in nest

(4 28 pm) Ma lands from the back with a stick

(4 35 pm) Ma flies out 4 door.

(4 37 pm) Star Ling launches into her routine

(4 41 pm) Pa still in nest

(4 49 pm) Ma returned with another stick.

(4 54 pm) Some stick play as they nestorate

(5 01 pm) Pa flies out of cam range. Maybe on perch or left nest. Ma continues to move sticks.

(5 06 pm) Ma leaves 3 door.

Scott - thanks for the heads up! I hardly ever get to see them on the nest - can't watch the cams at work...looks like some serious intermittent stick discussions. Lots of banging noises in the background too - and planes of course!
