Hi everyone!! Great to see you all here. I look forward to watching your video Will!

2:50PM
Laflet is more or less in the bowl and the adult is at 9oclock hidden under the leaves until the wind moves them aside a bit.

3:10PM
adult is at 12oclock and looks to be defeathering something
laflet is getting positioned to eat.

3;11PM feeding

3:27PM... I see the feeding is over. Adult is standing at 12 - feet/lower legs visible, and laf'let in the bowl.
the leaves are moving just enough to be annoying...

4:05PM
adult still at 12 -1oclock
laf'let is up to stretch a bit and while I can't see it for sure sems to be getting a snack

4;12PM
feeding ongong...

it occurs to me as I sit here 'watching a feeding' that were it not for the experience we have over the years, what I'm actually 'seeing' would be meaningless. A grey blob of bird dappled in shadows from leaves, moving around at the top of the view. If I don't blink I might see the suggestion of a beak now and then..

We have accomplished a lot even if I do say so myself! Exclaimation

Video to follow

4:34PM
return to keyboard and laf'let is alone as far as I can tell.
he's staying in the bowl but moving around especially stretching to the 12oclock area.

5;17PM
laf'let has made her way over to the 9oclock area and is hidden by the leaves Whistling
no adult on the nest.

5;43PM
adult in at 1oclock seems to have prey and is defeathering maybe?

laflet is up to be fed and is forcing the adult to move toward mid nest to offer the food.
step by clumsy step, laf'let gets closer to the adult

5:52PM
feeding continues..
5:58PM I think feeding time is over.

Adult has moved over to 9oclock and now back to 1-2 and now seems to be setling to brood, back near the tree trunk--OK I think this adult is Houdini!! I looked down to type back up to the monitor and NO Adult

video of the feeding to come.

Good morning Lafarge and Marg-you got some good shots between the blowing branch blocker. Puzzled
Around 6:25AM- it looked like a feeding may have occured. Not 100% sure. I'm off to get someMug of coffee

If you give it your 100%-you will succeed

Good morning, and thanks for the reports and pictures, Marg and jas!

I think both parents were just at the nest - when the leaves moved aside, the eaglet was surrounded by white tails! Grin
