Ironically I haven't been able to get this camera to work for me this afternoon...

I'm sure glad the jerkiness issue is fixed. I was going    every day!

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

The cam is also not working for me, and I've sent an email to Richard.

Looking forward to the new camera.

In the meantime, I managed to record a short video earlier today. I missed the naming of the eaglet-- can someone tell me his name?

Thanks for the update on the new cam Richard Left thumb up, that's good news for sure Nodding

Unable to view the cam, just keeps spinning...Sad

Hi Beans wave, so far this little guy does not have an official name Sad. Hopefully he/she will have one soon...

Off to watch your video....and thanks for the cute picture Wub

ETA ...thanks so much Beans Left thumb up. Your video shows a strong little guy sitting tall and getting lots to eat. I see the cloth is still on the nest (just behind the eaglet). With all the wind we've had lately I must say we're getting a much better view of the nest bowl now.....thanks again!

Oh, he needs a name!!!

Forum Assistants: any suggestions? Perhaps a classroom of children could name him? He lives next to a concrete factory and he is the only one (there were originally 3 eggs; the first one disappeared; the younger eaglet died at 4 1/2 days) left. He's a survivor. Smile

I have been 'unofficially' calling him laf'let for LAFarge eagLET but it's not any sort of name for a mature eagle

I'd like to see if the Staff at lafarge have any names in mind. We'd not be seeinghim at all if not for their efforts.

Or maybe employees at Lafarge Cement could come up with a few names that could be voted on here, in a poll. It might be a nice gesture to involve them, as the company has been so cooperative.
