Thanks for the pictures, Birdsie! I'm also thinking that one of the egg looks a little darker some of the time, depending on the lighting.

2:28PM
enough wind to keep that branch moving in and out of the view
Adult is facing about 7oclock
it was just up 2-3 minutes ago to check the eggs and reposition

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Hi JudyB--
Yes, and after I took that egg s'cap the lighting changed quite a bit (I think from the shade of the tree trunk)--and the eggs were in complete shade for a while. However, each egg still maintained a slightly different shade of brightness.

This is a lovely view of the adult and nest--but it's a little like playing jump rope to get a clear s'cap without branches or leaves!

3:35PM
the adult has been up to check the eggs a couple of times in the last hour. It's still quite windy there but looks to be sunny.

Added at about 8:25PM

Adult was off the nest:

I've been watching all day and there was a time earlier this morning that I saw an egg roll but the eagle was beside the eagle that was preparing the nest and you could see the eggs so plain as the nestorations were made. When did this ma Lafarge eagle lay the egss can I have the dates pleasewave
I live in Vancouver so this is going to be a treat going to the nest.
