Good morning, Lafarge!
Here's a 3-minute video that goes after my slideshow, a continuation of the feeding at 8:30 pm. The leaves do get in the way some (and I'm not good enough or patient enough to edit the video so it only has the good parts) - but there are some nice looks at the eaglet using her legs and wings to stretch as far as possible and even scramble up a bit to get some food.

The adult is now quietly brooding - there is so little wind the leaves remain in the way!

Mum is brooding - in a sea of white feathers - looks like the inevitable seagull!
There is a bit more breeze to move the leaves.

Please note that at some time this morning (after rush hour but before noon) I'll be taking a new server down to the Lafarge site and putting it into service. The server is vital to watching the camera - and also records hi-res archive files. They're supplying us with 5 x 1 Terabyte drives for this too
I'm somewhat pressed for time as we need to remove our server from the site before the weekend, and I only got the pieces for the Lafarge-supplied server yesterday about noon (and it was missing a power supply) so have been configuring it all evening and morning to take over the job permanently from our own server.
I'm hoping I have everything all done - but won't know until I get home as I won't be able to stay. We have our house up for sale and I have a viewing today at noon.
I will be able to remotely configure and fix/replace anything missing as I'm leaving a 100% copy of the information from our system there.
This may mean one of the following:
1 - all is well and the new server will just work - I certainly hope so
2 - the new server will need some minor software changes - and this will be done once I'm home but might take some time (hours, hopefully not days)
3 - the new server will need major work which I may not get done before the plant closes for the weekend (very low probability) which may mean that there is no video at all this weekend or until I can get in and fix things. The server has been running all night and this is very low probability.
sorry - I was hoping to have more time but the new parts simply took longer to get than we'd hoped - and we now are desperate for our own server back for this weekend.
None of this is Lafarge's fault - the supplier just took a long time, that's all.

Excellent video JudyB--I haven't been here in a few days--and the eaglet has grown soooo much!
She has excellent use of her wings. Watching the feeding allows me to see the 3-D nature of the nest cup. From above it looks so flat, but in the video, and by the eaglet's movements, it is clear there is a nest cup rim there that she is leaning against--and is holding her in--just like all the other nests.
