Thanks, jtw. I've had the cam up, but am doing other things and while I've seen the adult get up and assume there's some feeding going on, I've only been able to get little glimpses of the chicks. I do know that they can miss a feeding or two (or three) without ill effect - but it's always nice to see both well fed. And as you say, that may well have happened. They were right behind the big clump of leaves earlier, then the wind picked up again.

That's a polite way to describe it, Pat! It is quieter some of the time, but I'm guessing i gets a lot of wind from the water.

That's what I saw as well, Pat, though I just started watching at the end of the feeding - and combined with what jtw observed earlier, it does have me worried. I will try to watch more closely for another feeding, and hope for the best.

I caught the same thing Pat & Judy. It may have been wishful thinking but I thought I saw the submissive one turn so I could see it's eye right before Ma settled on top of them again.

I also saw that, Judi, but couldn't tell if it was turning or being moved by Mom or its sibling as they got tucked in. They were just alone for a minute or so, but the nest was moving so much that I had no clue if either chick moved.
There's no apparent reason why they shouldn't both be fine - there hasn't been much rivalry, both were getting fed initially, there's been some bad weather, but it looks as if both have been nestled in.
I'm hoping the little one had a good feeding earlier and is really just dozing - I was very worried about the tiny chick at Decorah for a day or so, and he's doing fine now - but I'm afraid it doesn't look too good right at the moment.
