Was watching the nest at 2:45 PM on 4/17. Eagle lifted off the nest for a moment and I saw that at least one egg had a couple of "pips". Looks like they are hatching.

Only time will tell... I thought there was pipping yesterday but it seems I was wrong then, so I am being conservative in my assessment/

3:34PM
adult keeps lowering its head (beak tip to chest) -- it makes me think of listening to what may be going on underneath but of course i have know idea what's really happening.

4;19PM
Adult has been sitting calmly still facing the trunk, putting beak to chest now and then.
the branch is blowing around often blocking the view almost completely

5:50 Adult shifts about 180 degrees, rolls the eggs, rearranges the nest. Who put that branch in the way? lol Couldn't really see the eggs.

5:53 More shifting and fidgeting. Fans out its wing and tail. Resettles over eggs.
