Hi Terry,

I was noticing yesterday, during the day, that the adult seemed a lot more restless than previously. I'm new at this nest-watching stuff. Could it be they're just getting bored (I know I would be) or could it be that hatching is getting close?

Cheers Judith

there seems to be a constant 'tremor?' of the image... I don't think it's wind because the leaves are perfectly still. It's as if the whole scene is vibrating... Puzzled don't think i'm explaing it very well

Well theoreticlly hatching should be getting close, But because 1 of the 3 eggs was lost in a bad windstorm we are not sure which eggs are left or exactly when they were laid. We did not have he camera operatinig when the layings happened.. only the occasional s'cap from one of the Lafarge employees.

Not even sure which adult is which....

I wish this one would getup! it is good light right now to look at the eggs... as they are white... look how wel the head and tail feathers look right now

I noticed in the comments on the articles about these eagles that someone posted that they'd seen a "raven" steal the egg that went missing. Storm or raven, either way, it makes me sad.

I watched the Sidney eagle feeding her young today. Can't wait to see "our" eagles do that!

You're right, the light would have been perfect for a good look at the eggs.

The adult looks like it has a small dead bird in the nest with it. It's concealed by the tree. It was moving it and the feathers were apparent.
