I wasn't sure about having the new cam zoomed in quite this close - but just saw the beginning of feathers (didn't s'cap in time) and wow - what a big poop shot! (Didn't s'cap that either ).

I guess as long as the eaglet is staying in the central nest area, maybe it is good to have it zoomed way in - we certainly get a much better sense of how big she is!

The adult is calling out, beak open wide.

Just caught a glimpse of Eaglet's wing as it spread out.
The cam is bouncy.....it's breezy..

The Laf'let is looking very handsome this morning:

As a reminder, there are currently two ways to view the nest - the main Lafarge cam page index.php?topic=LaFargeEagleNest has windows for viewing both cams if you scroll down a bit or click the "view live cam" link at the top.

And on our Live Cams page in the Lafarge box, there are links to smaller format versions of each cam, for those who have trouble fitting the large version on their monitor. There will also be a page with the small versions of both cams - once I have time to make it!

(Though personally, I'd check the local paper and/or craig's list to see if I could get a bigger monitor - the new cam is stunning at full size! )
