I didn't post again because I was trying to get something wrapped up so I could head for home, but the next time the cam was in that area, it looked as if the eagle that might be in the pic had left, and the one nearer the nest was still there. But it is hard to tell. If they seem to be there often (or if we think they might be there ) perhaps we can ask Richard to take a look some time when we think we see them - and add a stop there if there are really eagles to see. I'll try to keep that in mind when I'm watching tomorrow.

Tuesday October 26
I was too busy to post - but I did see an eagle - I think it was around 10:47 am (if I did my math correctly)

3:17PM here to watch for a while.
3:22PM just as the cam switched to the full tree view I saw what must have been one of our eagles flying in the distance left to right, beyond the atrificial nest.
No one is home on the tree
3:42PM I had a look at 'that spot' low down on the full tree view. there could have been an eagle there... there is something white there that's for sure and when you think about it there isn't much else in that environment that is pure white.
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Eagle in the nest!
I think it's Dad, and he's doing a bit of light nestoration.
I got a good look at his head when he flew in, which is why I'm guessing Dad, but he's been hiding behind the branch in the center of the nest since then, so I haven't been able to get a good s'cap.
I must admit I jumped when he flew in - the cams are currently much larger than I usually watched them, and it was zoomed way in - sort of felt as if he might pop right out onto my desk!
He's still hiding his face - but is nestled in nicely so I'll include a s'cap of that.

And while I'm here - this is from earlier today - other wildlife in the area:

9:43 am PDT
He's up and moving around now, heading towards the back of the nest.
This is one of the times that I'm happy that the cam often stays focused on the nest for such long periods.

The cam is cycling through its stops now - and I really am certain the other eagle is over on the right!

And we have a close-up of her as well!
