One of the Lochside Dr. eaglets was perched in the tree down by the beach. It kept it's eye on me as I walked along the beach towards it. As I was walking back to the path it few to a tree right next to the path. When I started climbing up to the path it flew off towards the nest. I missed getting any pics of it flying. On my way home from Pat Bay today, I saw Mom and one of the eaglets perched in the tree down by the beach. When Mom spotted me creeping through the bushes, she started chortling; probably telling the eaglet to stay put. Click pics bigger.

As we locals are tallying the return of all the eagles whose nests we monitor .... on the way back home from Pat Bay today we drove by the Lochside nest and saw one home from that pair. Did not stop to take a picture.

I saw one of the Lochside eagles perched in the tree down by the water this afternoon when I was driving home from Pat Bay. I was on the highway so no pic.

This afternoon I found the Lochside eagles down the road in a tree they quite often perch in. They were calling out to each other and at first I thought I heard an echo, then realized it was another adult eagle calling from a nearby tree. Click pics bigger.

This is the 3rd eagle in the nearby tree.

On my way to Pat Bay today, I saw the Lochside eagles perched in one of their favourite trees down the road from their nest; the same one they were in on Mon. The 3rd eagle was also perched in the same tree it was in on Mon. and they were all calling back and forth to each other. Click pics bigger.

One of the Lochside eagles was perched in their usual tree on James Island Rd. this afternoon. I took a few pics but it was difficult to get a good clear pic because it was so high up and perched amongst the small branches. The first 2 pics were taken from the road beside the tree and the 3rd pic was taken from the next street over. Click pics bigger.
